Storybrooke Pet Shelter

Storybrooke Pet Shelter is a location on Once Upon a Time. It first appears in the second episode of the first season.

The shelter is a veterinarian center run by Dr. Thatcher who assists with tending and caring to sick animals that are brought in. David Nolangot a job helping out there occasionally as well.

History

During the Curse

Mary Margaret Blanchard brought in an injured dove she found in the forest to the shelter to check its' health. Dr. Thatcher said the dove could heal just fine, but the dove can't survive on its' own and needs to reunite with its' flock soon. This led to Mary Margaret trying to brave the coming storm in the hopes of setting the dove to where its' flock might pass by. David Nolan persuaded her to wait it out because it was too dangerous to be outside. Mary Margaret was disappointed she wasn't able to see the flock, but at the moment the flock passed by after the storm was over. She was able to set the dove free, and she and David watched as another dove flew close with the other in the skies. ("7:15 A.M.")

Sheriff Graham asked Emma to take night duty during one day of the week in which he claimed to need to help out a sick dog at the shelter since the veterinarian was not going to be there. However, Emma found out the real reason why he wasn't on night duty. ("The Shepherd")
