Jan Nash is a writer and consulting producer of ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.
Biography
Jan Nash is a producer and writer of television programs ranging from lighthearted comedies to serious dramas. One of her earliest writing jobs was during the late 1990s on the celebrated Ellen DeGeneres sitcom Ellen, on which she also worked as a supervising producer.[1]
Nash followed up as writer and supervising producer for the short-lived sitcom Hiller and Diller, starring comedians Richard Lewis and Kevin Nealon.[1] She met with considerably more success on her next sitcom, Caroline in the City, starring Lea Thompson, which ran for four seasons.[1]
In 2001, Nash worked as a writer and co-producer on the CBS drama series Family Law, starring Kathleen Quinlan.[1] Despite her early work with sitcoms, Nash's greatest success has been as a writer and executive producer for the CBS procedural drama Without a Trace, where she contributed to more than 130 episodes between 2002 and 2009.[1] Nash subsequently wrote two episodes of the short-lived drama series The Deep End, starring Billy Zane.[1]
In 2013, Nash worked on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland as writer and consulting producer. That same year, she became the new showrunner and executive producer of TNT's Rizzoli & Isles, replacing Janet Tamaro.[2] She started her tenure from the show's fifth season until its cancellation, after its seventh season.
