Life and Career

Beverley was born in Listowel Ontario, Canada, and moved to Vancouver when she was in her early twenties. On the west coast, she was able to combine her two careers, acting and singing. She starred in the Canadian series Hope Island and was a regular on Bordertown and Mysterious Ways. Beverley is also a well-known singer on the western coast of Canada, releasing her own album called Yellow Dress.

She is a regular performer at the Blyth Festival and has performed extensively in BC Theatre, Arts Club and Touchstone Theatre. Beverley was a finalist in the 1988 Bud Talent Contest, singing at the National Country Music convention in Toronto.

Her video for the song "It Could be Me" was filmed on the Bordertown set during a day off. Most of the show's cast, crew, wardrobe, teamsters, and the owners of the horses volunteered their time to help out.

Beverley Elliott has opened for such major acts as The Oak Ridge Boys, Jamie Warren, Thomas Wade and The Waywards, and has sung with Long John Baldry, Kathy MacDonald, Jim Byrnes and Lisa Brokop.

She says her most rewarding role has been as a mother to her young daughter Sally.
