Ava Acres is the American actor who portrays Young Regina on ABC's Once Upon a Time.

Biography

Ava Acres was born in Atlanta, Georgia,[1] but her family relocated to Los Angeles when she was still very young.[3] She is the daughter of actor and composer Tim Acres and the sister of fellow actor Isabella Acres.[4]

When she was only four-five years old, Ava guest-starred in several TV shows, including the The Sarah Silverman Program, Criminal Minds, Weeds and Nick Swardson's Pretend Time. Between 2011 and 2014, she provided her voice for various roles in the animated television series Adventure Time. She has also voiced characters in several famous animation films, such as Frozen, Despicable Me 2, Monsters University, Wreck-It Ralph and Penguins of Madagascar, and is perhaps best known for providing the voice for the baby emperor penguin Erik in the 3D computer-animated family musical comedy film Happy Feet Two.[1]

In addition to lending her voice, Ava has also performed in several live action movies, including the 2013 crime drama film Free Ride[5] produced by and starring Anna Paquin, the 2014 horror film At the Devil's Door and the 2014 psychological thriller The Face of an Angel,[6] starring Kate Beckingsale. She also played the young version of Shailene Woodley's character in the 2014 art drama thriller White Bird in a Blizzard.[1] Television appearances of notes includes the recurring character of Madeline on the fifth season of the anthology horror television series American Horror Story,[7] young Rebecca Bunch on the romantic musical comedy-drama series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend[8] and the Inhuman Katya Belyakov on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episodes "Melinda" and "Wake Up".[9]
